Claudia Cometa, PharmD
CEO and Chief Executive Healthcare Consultant

After graduating in 2003 from the University of Florida with my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, I completed an additional year of residency training, specializing in Ambulatory Care. I have extensive experience in high risk medication management, retail pharmacy staffing and management, and hospital-based pharmacy services.

As a clinical pharmacist, I advocated for my patients for over a decade. After my father was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma, I found myself on the patient side of the equation. It was during that year of struggle that I realized how important and vital it is to have an advocate by your side. I also visualized first hand how many patients are trying to navigate the medical system alone, while also trying to process their diagnosis and heal. I have lived and breathed this system from both sides and have an intimate understanding of what works and what doesn't. It would be my honor to use that knowledge to help you or a family member.

Patient Advocate

After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Palm Beach Atlantic University, I completed additional programs in critical care, nurse education and leadership through Broward College and Broward Health Medical Center in South Florida.

For over a decade, I cared for hospitalized patients suffering from complex conditions such as Heart Failure, COPD, Kidney Failure and more. Seeing patients and families struggle to absorb information and make life-changing decisions, I realized the power of advocacy in guiding patients for better care, safety and peace of mind. It’s my privilege to empower patients during their healing process. I am bilingual (English/Spanish) and focus on health wellness including medical chart reviews, chronic illness management, patient and family education, surgical readiness and insurance navigation.
